I’ve recently connected with a lot of high school alumni on Facebook, and decided to post a link to an article I wrote back in 2004 entitled An Ode to William Yachymiak. He is an English teacher many of us have come to revere for his wisdom and talent in bringing out the best in us — a sometimes arduous process on all sides — so I was interested to get feedback from other alumni.
